This Week in Dubai: The Global Sustainability Summit hosted by The C Institute

The World Sustainability Summit is set to take place at The Sustainable City in Dubai, from April 25th to 26th. Hosted by the C Institute, this center focuses on education, training, and research related to sustainability and achieving net-zero emissions. The summit aims to contribute to the UAE’s initiative to achieve climate neutrality and reduce emissions by 2050.

Founder and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the C Institute, Engineer Fares Saeed, emphasized the importance of achieving net-zero emissions in today’s climate. He stated that the summit will bring together industry experts, researchers, and academics to discuss strategies and solutions for accelerating climate action.

Notable speakers at the summit include Maha Al-Qattan, Gary King, Jack Matthews, and Ghanem Al Falasi. International researchers from esteemed universities and companies will present research papers on a range of sustainability topics such as climate initiatives, circular economy solutions, and resilient city strategies. Additionally, discussions and academic dialogues will take place alongside a training camp aimed at supporting emerging companies in the sustainability sector. This camp offers opportunities for growth and collaboration.

The event is organized in partnership with C Holding, a company specializing in sustainable city design, construction, and investment. C Holding works closely with the academic team at the C Institute to promote climate neutrality goals and provide partners with the knowledge and tools needed to achieve global emissions targets.
