The squad includes veterans Tim Southee and Trent Boult, with Rachin Ravindra and Matt Henry being the only members who have not previously participated in a T20 World Cup.

Conway, who was recently ruled out of the IPL due to a thumb injury sustained in February, is making a return to international cricket for the T20 World Cup.
