In this episode of The Tenant, we follow a couple who have chosen to make Bengaluru’s Electronic City their new home. Initially drawn to the area due to its affordability and good air quality, they quickly realized that communication was a major obstacle. Being primarily Hindi speakers, they found it difficult to fully integrate and feel like locals in their new community.

The couple also discusses other challenges they faced in Electronic City, such as the water scarcity problem being exaggerated, and the lack of malls and multiplexes in the area. These factors made it difficult for them to enjoy the same conveniences they were used to in their previous city. Additionally, they struggled with traffic, weather, and cultural differences in Bengaluru which further hindered their ability to feel at home.

Despite their initial hopes for a positive experience in Electronic City, these challenges have caused the couple to question whether Bengaluru is truly the right place for them to settle down permanently. Tune in to hear more about their journey and struggles firsthand.
