Israeli Defense Minister Vows to Achieve Goals in Gaza Despite US Warning

Israeli Defense Minister Vows to Achieve Objectives against Allies and Adversaries

In a recent interview with CNN, Yoav Gallant, the Minister of Defense of Israel, made it clear that he will not rest until he achieves all his objectives in the Gaza Strip. This statement came in response to a recent threat from US President Joe Biden to stop supplying weapons to Israel if they conduct a large-scale operation in the southern city of Rafah.

Gallant emphasized that the State of Israel, its army, and defense system cannot be subjugated. He stated that they will stand firm, achieve their goals, and eliminate threats from groups like Hamas and Hezbollah who seek to destroy them. The Minister reiterated the government’s commitment to bringing back the 128 hostages held by Hamas.

In an interview with CNN, Biden warned that the US would cease sending artillery and bombs for fighter planes if Israel launched a major invasion in Rafah. The recent occupation of the Palestinian part of Rafah by Israeli tanks has caused the border crossing to remain closed, impacting the entry of humanitarian aid and medical treatment for those in need.

Despite the potential consequences, Gallant remains resolute in his mission to defend Israel and ensure its security. The Minister’s determination reflects the ongoing tensions and complexities in the region, as Israel navigates its defense strategies in response to threats from various groups.
