Dhofar Fall 2024 launches at the Arabian Travel Market in Dubai

The Municipality of Dhofar in Oman is gearing up for the Dhofar Fall 2024 activities, set to take place from June 21 to September 20. This year’s events will be held in both existing and new locations to attract more tourists.

During a press conference at the Arabian Travel Market 2024 exhibition in Dubai, Mayor Dr. Ahmed bin Mohsen Al-Ghassani announced that the fall season will run for three months, twice as long as previous years. One of the highlights of this year’s activities will be the launch of the “Atin Square” website, which will feature various events such as Omani and Arab artistic concerts at the Al Murooj Theater and other locations. Additionally, there will be a sports challenge field in the games area at Atin Square.

The “Return of the Past” activities in the Al-Saada area will also be updated to simulate local environments in Dhofar Governorate, incorporating new environments from other Sultanate of Oman governorates. Live performances and arts showcasing Omani culture will also be featured, along with the inaugural “Dhofar International Theater Festival” to encourage participation from authorities in the Sultanate of Oman.

The Municipality of Dhofar is working hard to provide a diverse and engaging experience for visitors during the fall season, with an anticipated increase in visitors reaching one million or more.
