Cincinnati Museum Center (CMC) is committed to fostering a community that prioritizes health and wellbeing. The newest addition to CMC’s Museum of Natural History & Science is the Advancing Health exhibit presented by Mayfield Brain & Spine. This permanent exhibit will open in July and focus on body systems, medical innovations, and health care professions, with the goal of inspiring a new generation to take care of themselves and others.

The Advancing Health exhibit will feature nine sections, each highlighting a different body system, allowing visitors to explore the human body at a cellular level and from a holistic perspective. By understanding how the body works and how to keep it healthy, visitors will be encouraged to listen to their own bodies, take better care of themselves, and possibly even pursue a career in caring for others.

Elizabeth Pierce, president & CEO of Cincinnati Museum Center, describes Advancing Health as an exhibit that allows visitors to zoom inside their own bodies to see how they function and how technology can help when systems fail. The exhibit is designed around nine major body systems, including the heart, blood, lungs, muscles, bones, digestion
