The Specialty Coffee Association (SCA) is excited to announce that the world’s largest coffee trade organization will be hosting its flagship European trade show, World of Coffee, in Geneva, Switzerland in 2025. This will be the first time the event has been held in Switzerland and will take place from June 26th to June 28th at the Palexpo convention center.
The SCA also announced that it will be hosting two other World of Coffee shows next year, one in Jakarta and one in Dubai, as well as its annual United States trade show, the Specialty Coffee Expo in Houston. In addition to these events, the SCA is also looking forward to bringing coffee lovers together for a special celebration of Swiss coffee culture during the Geneva event.
Yannis Apostolopoulos, CEO of the SCA said “Geneva is the perfect host for World of Coffee 2025. Switzerland’s relationship with coffee began with the grand European coffee houses of the 17th century and continues today with thriving food and beverage, hospitality and technology industries shaping the entire coffee value chain.” He went on to say that he was thrilled about having returning corporate sponsors such as Austria-based water solutions provider BWT Water+More and espresso equipment brand Barista Attitude, which is part of Italy’s Ryoma Group.
