UT Health San Antonio Graduates First Dual-Degree Class in Medicine and AI: Meet Eri Osta and Aaron Fanous

First graduates of nation’s inaugural dual degree in medicine and artificial intelligence to come from UT Health San Antonio

Eri Osta and Aaron Fanous, two students at the Joe R. and Teresa Lozano Long School of Medicine at UT Health San Antonio, are making history by becoming the first graduates of the nation’s dual degree program in medicine and artificial intelligence (AI). They will receive a Doctor of Medicine and a Master of Science in Artificial Intelligence (M.D./M.S. in AI) as part of this unique collaboration between the school and UTSA’s University College.
