Unleashing Business Potential: A Workshop Connecting Agricultural Entrepreneurs with Local Resources

GreenSeam to offer agriculture-focused workshops for businesses – The Globe

On May 2, the St. James Golf Course in St. James will be hosting a workshop hosted by GreenSeam that aims to connect ag-related businesses with the necessary resources to start or grow their business locally. Attendees of the workshop will have the opportunity to network with fellow businesses, community leaders, and experts in community-based entrepreneurship. They will also gain valuable tools to advance their business or idea to the next level.

During the workshop, University of Minnesota Extension Educator Neil Linscheid will discuss critical variables that contribute to business success in the county. Jeff Stamp, inventor of the Lays Baked potato chip and professor of entrepreneurship at the U of M, will share insights on the six problems all entrepreneurs must solve. Attendees will also have the opportunity to listen to a panel of local business success stories from companies such as Romsdahl Companies, Winegar Inc, and Berry Pallets.

The workshop will conclude with a work session where attendees can ask questions, access regional resources, and connect with local Economic Development representatives.
