Ukrainian Armed Forces Defend Against Russian Attacks Using Drones and S-300 Missiles, Leaving 4 Injured in Kharkiv.

Drone attacks in Ukraine leave 6 people injured

On May 4th, the Ukrainian Armed Forces reported that the Russian side launched a series of attacks using drones and S-300 missiles. According to Mykola Oleshchuk, commander of the Air Force of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, 13 drones and 4 S-300 missiles were used in the assault. The Ukrainian military successfully shot down all 13 drones with air defense forces.

Unfortunately, these attacks had a devastating impact on civilian populations. In Kharkiv, four people were injured in the attack, including a child born in 2010 and a woman. Two other women, aged 52 and 89, received treatment on the spot. The falling debris from one of the crashed drones caused a two-story office building, a warehouse, a tire repair building, and trees to catch fire.

The conflict in Ukraine continues to escalate despite these attacks causing destruction and injuries. However, Ukrainian authorities remain committed to addressing the situation and providing assistance to those affected by these incidents. It is likely that these attacks will have long-lasting effects on the communities and individuals involved in Pavlograd region of Dnepropetrovsk region where two people were injured according to Sergey Lisak head of region.
