One of the visitors he spoke with, Ivan Fernandez, who traveled from Hollywood, Florida to Dallas specifically to see the solar eclipse in person. Despite some clouds threatening to obscure the view, Fernandez remains excited about experiencing the darkness when the moon passes in front of the sun.

Another visitor, Gregory Diaz, also from Hollywood, shared his anticipation for the moment of totality which will last about four minutes. The city has seen an influx of tourists coming from all over to witness this rare celestial event and with it comes a surge of activity and revenue for Dallas.

While some challenges like traffic and increased gas prices may pose problems for some visitors, there is a sense of excitement and buzz building up around this unique experience. People have traveled from London, Denver and other places around the world just to witness this extraordinary event that they have planned their trip years in advance for.

The forecast for viewing this eclipse in Dallas may not be ideal but many are still making sure they make the most of it by enjoying camaraderie and connection with others who have also made their journey to witness this once-in-a-lifetime event. The eclipse is set to begin with moon covering sun at 1:23 p.m EST in Dallas with total coverage starting at 2:40 p.m lasting for four minutes .
