Skytrax, a renowned organization for star rating airlines and airports, releases an annual ranking of the best airport hotels globally. Two US airports have made it to the top 10, with one even reaching number three.
Skytrax uses guest surveys and several factors to determine the rankings, including overall experience, accessibility, cleanliness, in-room amenities, quality of facilities and restaurants, and value for money. The TWA Hotel at JFK International Airport in NYC has secured the third spot globally, trailing behind Hyatt Regency Shenzhen Airport in China and Crowne Plaza Changi Airport in Singapore. Another US hotel that made it to the top ten is the Grand Hyatt at San Francisco International Airport.
The US dominates the top five North American airport hotels according to Skytrax’s rankings. Topping the list is TWA Hotel at John F. Kennedy International Airport in NYC. Following closely behind is The Fairmont at Vancouver International Airport in Canada. The Grand Hyatt at San Francisco International Airport is also among the top five. The Westin at San Francisco International Airport and The Westin at Denver International Airport round out the top five North American airport hotels according to Skytrax’s rankings.
