Unfortunately, heavy rainfall led to the cancellation of the qualification round for the men’s competition in Keqiao. As a result, all athletes will participate in the semi-final round using the qualification format. The final round of the men’s competition will feature 20 athletes and use a semi-final format, similar to how the IFSC World Cup Seoul 2023 handled adverse weather conditions.
The updated schedule for the men’s competition is as follows: On Wednesday, 10th April, at 09:00, the men’s Boulder semi-final with the qualification format will take place. In the evening, at 19:00, the men’s Boulder final will be held using a semi-final format. This adjustment allows for a fair and equal opportunity for all athletes to showcase their skills and compete for the top spots in the competition. Despite the weather challenges, the show must go on, and our athletes are ready to give their best performance in these critical rounds of competition in Keqiao.
