New Sports Restaurant Coming Soon near I-69 and 116th Street in Fishers – Indianapolis News, Indiana Weather, and Traffic Updates

A new sports restaurant featuring a variety of menu items will be opening in Fishers on Monday. Walk-On’s Sports Bistreaux, known for their chicken, hamburgers, po’boys, desserts, cocktails and more, already has two locations in Indiana: one in West Lafayette and another in Clarksville. The franchise restaurant is owned by Todd Johnson, Wade Kornblith and NFL Hall of Famer Derrick Brooks of Trident Hospitality.

The new Fishers location is situated at 11655 Fishers Corner Blvd., a short drive from downtown Indianapolis and close to the I-69 interchange for 116th Street. It is located across the street from the Target department store at the former O’Charley’s Restaurant and Bar site. Former NFL quarterback Drew Brees has also been a financial backer of Walk-On’s expansion efforts.

To celebrate the opening of the new restaurant, a ribbon-cutting ceremony will take place at 10:30 a.m. on Monday with local chamber of commerce leaders and Walk-On’s operators in attendance. The restaurant will officially open its doors at 11 a.m., with one lucky guest having the chance to win free Walk-On’s food for an entire year if they are among the first 100 customers.
