Fanta covers the sport in various capacities, including calling games on FS1 and providing commentary on The Field of 68 Media Network. Fanta shared that Drew’s family played a role in his decision, with three children in high school and college and a desire to stay in Waco.
As a result of Drew’s decision, Kentucky’s search for a new head coach continues. Potential candidates include Dan Hurley from UConn, Billy Donovan from the Chicago Bulls, and possibly Sean Miller from Xavier. Despite lucrative offers from other programs, Drew remains committed to Baylor. He cites it as his home and the place where he wants to continue coaching.
