Safford Spotlight on Small Business: Empowering Entrepreneurs through Education and Collaboration

Limited seats remaining for Spotlight on Small Business

On Monday, April 1, the first Safford Spotlight on Small Business event will be held at the Manor 415 Convention Center. The event aims to support and enhance the success of small businesses in Safford by bringing together city officials, including Mayor Richard Ortega and City Manager John Cassella.

Small business owners and operators will have the opportunity to learn about various topics such as business licensing requirements, the role of the city’s Planning and Community Development Department, and new beneficial ownership reporting requirements from the Financial Crimes Network of the IRS. Mayor Ortega encourages both new and established small business owners to attend to gain new insights from the event.

The event will begin with a continental breakfast and networking at 7 a.m., followed by a 90-minute program starting at 7:30 a.m. There is no cost to attend, but seats must be reserved in advance through the City of Safford Spotlight on Business Breakfast Tickets event page on Eventbrite. The event is sponsored by the City of Safford, the Graham County Chamber of Commerce, the Small Business Development Center at Eastern Arizona College, and the Safford Downtown Association.
