Ryan Blaney set the second-fastest lap speed during Cup race qualifications at Dover Motor Speedway, just behind Kyle Busch who claimed the pole position. William Byron, Tyler Reddick and Noah Gragson rounded out the top five in qualifying. Erik Jones is unfortunately out of the race due to a compression fracture in a lower vertebra that he sustained last week at Talladega. Zane Smith and Kaz Grala did not qualify after encountering crashes during Group B practice. Corey Heim stepped in for Jones and qualified 32nd with a lap speed of 159.327 mph. Christopher Bell also spun during initial qualifying but managed to avoid significant damage by scraping the car against the outside wall. The race at Dover will begin on Sunday at 2:11 p.m., with FS1 providing coverage. Pre-race coverage kicks off with NASCAR RaceDay on FS1 at 1 p.m.
