Former FTC and White House staff member joins anti-monopoly group

Elizabeth Wilkins, a senior adviser in the Biden White House and formerly chief of staff at the Federal Trade Commission, has joined the American Economic Liberties Project as a senior fellow.

Jessica Monahan, who previously worked with Arnold & Porter and McGuireWoods Consulting, National Association of Counties, and Squire Patton Boggs alum, has joined Cozen O’Connor as a senior principal.

The Aerospace Industries Association has appointed Ryan McDermott as vice president of national security policy after his recent work with the Air Force’s cost and economics office.

Vincent Barnes, who previously served as a senior vice president at the Alliance to Save Energy, now serves as senior vice president of government affairs at the AnnDyl Policy Group.

Jennifer Rust, who previously worked with the House Financial Services Committee and Maxine Waters (D-Calif.), has joined Rich Feuer Anderson as a principal after her role as senior vice president and counsel at Porterfield, Fettig & Sears.

The American Council of Life Insurers (ACLI) has named Jill Kozeny as executive vice president and chief advocacy officer, consolidating its government relations and public affairs practices. Kozeny, a former chief of staff to Sen. Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa) and Senate Finance Committee member, joined ACLI in 2019. The organization also promoted Howard Bard to senior vice president and deputy general counsel, Scott Dixon to senior vice president and chief financial officer, Carrie Haughawout to senior vice president of life insurance and regulatory policy
