NASA Seeking Proposals for Ground-Based Research and Collaborations in Space-Related Sciences

Amendment 15 Introduces New Opportunity with the E.11 Consortium in Biological Sciences

NASA is seeking proposals for ground-based research investigations and collaborations to secure funding from other organizations that align with its science interests in space-related health, animal, and plant sciences. Researchers who are interested in participating in this program element are invited to submit proposals that include an Inclusion Plan.

All submissions will undergo a dual anonymous peer review process to evaluate their merit and alignment with program objectives. The selected proposal will receive a single award of up to $2.5M with a maximum performance period of 5 years.

The program aims to support innovative research that advances NASA’s scientific priorities and contributes to our understanding of the effects of space conditions on living organisms. Proposals may focus on a variety of research areas within the scope of space-related human health, animal, and plant sciences. Collaborations with other Federal agencies and organizations are encouraged to enhance the overall impact and success of the proposed research efforts.
