Microsoft’s LinkedIn has emerged as the most popular business app with 1.5 billion lifetime downloads, according to a recent study by SplitMetrics examining Google Play downloads of productivity tools. Other popular apps in the business category include Zoom, Microsoft Teams, OfficeSuite, and Indeed. In the productivity category, Google dominates with apps like Google Drive, Google Calendar, Microsoft OneDrive, Google Assistant, and Google Keep. These apps have received billions of downloads over their lifetime.

The study also highlights the apps that have shown significant growth year-over-year, such as Lopay, Etsy Seller, JobSwipe, Parcel Tracking, Shopify, PDF Reader, Notepad, All Document Reader, Google Tasks, and Link to Windows.
