On March 25, students and their families from kindergarten to high school were invited to the Malverne High School for an evening full of excitement centered around hands-on science, math, and engineering activities. The goal of this event was to spark an interest in STEM learning, which integrates science, technology, engineering, and math to develop creative design, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.

The attendees had a range of activities to participate in, including chemistry experiments, biology studies, physical science projects, math games and science-themed crafts. Moreover, they could explore robotics technology and ride on a student-made hovercraft. To top it all off, they were treated with ice cream made on-site using liquid nitrogen.

What made the event even more special was the involvement of high school students who volunteered their time to assist with the activities and share their knowledge and experiences with the younger attendees. This interaction between students of different grade levels not only added depth to the learning experience but also served as a source of inspiration for future generations of STEM enthusiasts.

In conclusion, the event was an enormous success in sparking interest in STEM learning among Malverne students and their families. The hands-on activities provided an opportunity for attendees to learn about science and engineering while having fun. Moreover, the involvement of high school volunteers added an extra layer of excitement and knowledge sharing that will surely inspire future generations of STEM learners.
