Bango honors victors of Racine elementary school’s Fresh Air Science Fair

Fifth graders at Julian Thomas Elementary School in Racine were recently recognized for their participation in a nearly two-month long Fresh Air Science Fair. The fair, which began on February 1st, saw students forming teams and submitting projects that brought clean air pollution concepts to life. Each entry was judged based on the quality of research, data analysis, and the creativity of their presentation.

The Fresh Air Science Fair is a collaborative effort between Modine, Milwaukee Bucks, Racine Unified School District, and United Way of Racine County. This partnership allows students to explore important scientific concepts in a fun and engaging way. Congratulations to all the winners of this year’s Science Fair!

On Wednesday, March 27th, an award assembly was held to announce the winners and award prizes. In attendance were Milwaukee Bucks mascot Bango and the trampoline dunking team, the Rim Rockers.
