Grace Properties LLC, owned by David and Amanda Trahan, has purchased 6.2 acres of land near Sugar Mill Pond in Youngsville for over $2.8 million to expand their Lake Charles-based daiquiri chain. The Trahans plan to divide the land into five lots, with their new location situated on the southern end of the property. They hope to start construction in the fall and sell the remaining lots to other businesses.
In addition to the Youngsville expansion, the Trahans also have plans to add five or six additional locations in the Lafayette area and expand to Baton Rouge. Currently, Paradise Grill & Daiquiris has four locations in Lake Charles, Moss Bluff, Sulphur, and another set to open on May 1st. However, in 2022, they sold 1.6 acres of land along Milton Road near the Metairie Center shopping center for $555,000 after receiving an offer right before construction was set to begin. The sale netted them $800,000.
