Empowering Senior Health in Brooklyn: A Resource Fair by the Forrest County Board of Supervisors

Health Fair for Senior Residents to be Hosted by Forrest County

In Brooklyn, Mississippi, the Forrest County Board of Supervisors is collaborating with the Southern Mississippi Planning and Developing District to host a Health & Resource Fair for seniors. The fair will take place at the Brooklyn Community Center on Thursday, April 18th from 10 a.m. to noon.

During this event, seniors will have access to free health screenings, community resources, and aging services provided by SMPDD. Forrest County Board President Terri Bell hopes that this event will show residents that the county cares about their health and well-being.

In addition to these important health services, refreshments and door prizes will also be available for attendees. This convenient opportunity is aimed at providing essential health screenings and resources for 60-plus age constituents in Southern Mississippi.
