Chris Bell Sets Pole for Kansas Speedway, Marking First of Season as Joe Gibbs Driver; Larson and Busch Continue to Shine

Christopher Bell Claims Pole Position for NASCAR Cup Race at Kansas

Christopher Bell has secured the pole position for Sunday’s Cup race at Kansas Speedway, marking his first of the season as a driver for Joe Gibbs Racing. His teammate, Ross Chastain, will be starting in second place, followed by Noah Gragson in a career-high third position. Kyle Larson and Kyle Busch will start fourth and fifth, respectively. Larson continues to perform well with this being his sixth top-five starting position in 12 races this year.

It’s worth noting that this is the third consecutive week that Kyle Busch has started in the top five. He claimed the pole at Dover last week and started fourth at Talladega the week before. William Byron, who has three wins this season, will be starting a season-low 36th place after hitting the wall during his qualifying run. The race is set to begin at 3:13 p.m. ET on FS1.
