The Austin Area High School Sports Awards, in partnership with Thomas J. Henry Law, have announced the nominees for the Boys and Girls Swimming & Diving Athletes of the Year. The live show, where the winners will be revealed, will take place on June 12 at Dell Hall in Austin.
The event is part of a nine-month recognition program that highlights athletes, coaches, and teams from the Austin region who participate in sanctioned Texas High School sports. This series of 20 regional shows across the United States culminates in a red-carpet show this spring.
At the live show, nominees for various sports will be honored, including the Boys and Girls Swimming & Diving Athletes of the Year. In addition to these awards, Coach of the Year, Team of the Year, and Courage Award will also be presented to recognize outstanding on- and off-the-field achievements.
