The US has taken steps to prevent American commodities from being used to support Russia’s military efforts in Ukraine. The Commerce Department sent letters to at least 20 corporations that produce and market parts used in drones and missiles found in Ukraine, with the aim of disrupting Russia’s military operations and limiting its access to Western technologies.
Despite sanctions imposed by the US and other nations on Moscow, American components have been discovered in Russian weapons left on the battlefield in Ukraine.
