Alma Asay, Crowell & Moring’s chief innovation and value officer, has been named to the International Legal Technology Association’s Influential Women in Legal Technology list for 2024. Asay is a seasoned innovation leader with over twenty years of experience in the legal industry. In her role at Crowell, she oversees initiatives related to client value, business intelligence, knowledge management, practice innovation, research services, and generative AI. She is also a thought leader in the industry and frequently speaks at conferences and leads presentations on innovation and value topics for clients.
Asay began her career as a lawyer at Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher before founding Allegory, a cloud-based litigation management platform that was later acquired by Integreon Discovery Solutions. She then served as Integreon’s chief innovation officer before joining Litera Microsystems, where she focused on enhancing the company’s visibility and customer relationships through collaborations with industry leaders and the development of technologies for lawyers.
