In a tragic incident, three people were injured in an apartment fire in the center of Zagreb. The fire was reported to have started on Palmoti street shortly before 6 p.m., and it was extinguished by Zagreb’s firefighters within ten minutes. Official reports suggest that foreign workers live in the apartment where the fire started, and unofficial sources claim that it was caused by a battery used for bicycles.
The emergency services were also on hand to help manage the situation, with one person sustaining burns, another with a cut, and the third suffering from smoke inhalation. A total of six vehicles from Zagreb’s fire department arrived at the scene to assist with rescue efforts.
