YouthWell’s Youth Advisory Board Internship: Giving High School Students the Chance to Make a Difference in Mental Health Education and Community Service

YouthWell Mental Health Awareness Organization Now Accepting Applications for Advisory Board Internships

High school students in Santa Barbara County who are passionate about mental health education, leadership and community service have an amazing opportunity to apply for the YouthWell organization’s Youth Advisory Board (YAB) Internship program. This program is designed to provide hands-on experience in mental health awareness, with training in peer support, team building, collaboration and more.

The YAB program will run from August 2024 to May 2025 and participants are expected to dedicate eight to ten hours per month to activities. Throughout the program, students will engage in meetings, retreats, and planning of the annual Student Advocacy & Mental Wellness Summit which will allow them to connect with their peers and develop valuable skills.
