Young Scientist Hannah: Exploring the Weather and Beyond

4th grade science enthusiast predicts the weather!

Hannah, a 4th grader from Franklin Elementary, has a passion for science and is eager to explore the world of meteorology. Her favorite subject in school is science and she can’t pick just one thing that she loves most about it. She is looking forward to becoming a 5th grader and eventually moving on to the junior high building in the following school year. Despite her love for science, Hannah admits that her least favorite subject is math.

When she’s not in school, Hannah enjoys a variety of activities such as ballet, recreational basketball, spending time outside with friends at the park, reading science fiction books, playing with her siblings or spending time with her pets – two cats and a dog.

Hannah’s ideal weather includes plenty of sunshine and temperatures in the mid to upper-60s and low-70s without humidity. These conditions are perfect for her favorite summertime activity, swimming. While she may not be a fan of snow, she still enjoys sledding in the winter. Despite her dislike of hot and humid weather, Hannah loves vacationing in Florida especially swimming in the ocean and visiting Disney World.

Hannah gives this weekend’s forecast a thumbs up as she is pleased with the sunny, warm and breezy conditions that will allow her to spend as much time outside as possible.
