Young Darts Prodigy, Lennon Wharf: On a Mission to Become the World Champion

Lennon Wharf, a 10-year-old darts prodigy, is on a mission to become the world champion in the sport. Already a multiple winner in local tournaments, he has defeated former professionals and shown exceptional talent on the oche. Lennon plays for Suffolk’s under-18 darts team while also balancing his schoolwork, hitting over 450 top scores and even scoring his first 180 at just three years old.

As his career gains momentum, Lennon has been signed by Target Darts, the same brand that represents top players like Luke Littler, Rob Cross, and Raymond van Barneveld. He has also had the opportunity to play against darts professionals like 2008 world champion Mark Webster and received mentoring from Suffolk darts legend Keith Deller.

Lennon’s father Gary is incredibly proud of his son’s accomplishments and describes his rapid progress in the sport as “crazy.” Despite feeling nervous while watching Lennon play, Gary admires his son’s calm and focused approach on the stage. Meanwhile, Lennon remains determined and focused on his goal of becoming a world champion multiple times, aiming to surpass Luke Littler’s achievements.
