Xavier University of Louisiana and the Mendoza College of Business at the University of Notre Dame have recently announced a partnership that will provide new career pathways for Xavier students. Through this collaboration, four qualified Xavier students will be admitted into each of four specialized master’s programs at Notre Dame, including the Master of Science in Accountancy, Master of Science in Business Analytics, Master of Science in Finance, Master of Science in Management, and the Master of Nonprofit Administration. These programs are one-year in length and are designed to prepare students for successful careers through experiential learning opportunities.

Tahra Taylor, associate director of graduate business career development at Notre Dame and an alumna of Xavier, expressed her excitement about the partnership and its potential to attract a diverse pool of talented candidates to their programs. The goal is to strengthen the commitment to diversity and inclusion within the graduate business programs at Notre Dame. As an historically Black university with a current enrollment of nearly 3,200 students, Xavier University is well-positioned to contribute to this mission.

This partnership is a natural fit for both institutions as they share a common mission to develop leaders who contribute to global society through business. By working together, they can provide valuable resources and experiences to students from diverse backgrounds while advancing their shared goals for social impact.
