Wyoming Cowgirls Earn Spot in NIT Tournament for Second Year in a Row, Competing Against Top Teams on Amazon Prime Video

Cowgirls Chosen for UTR Sports NIT Event Once More

The Wyoming Cowgirl tennis team has earned a spot in the postseason once again, making it to the UTR NIT tournament held in Bradenton, Florida from May 5-8. This is the second year in a row that the team has been selected for postseason play.

During the regular season, the Cowgirls had a strong record of 16-10 and finished third in the Mountain West with a 7-3 record. Noesjka Brink and Sophie Zehender were named to the All-Singles Team, while Violetta Borodina and Zehender received All-Doubles recognition.

The Cowgirls will be joined by teams from Colorado, West Virginia, Tulsa, Liberty, Appalachian State, Pacific, and Saint Mary’s in the tournament. All matches will be streamed live on Amazon Prime Video.

Last year, the Cowgirls had a 2-1 record in the NIT tournament and will be looking to improve upon that this year as they compete against some of the best teams in the country. Fans can catch all the action on Amazon Prime Video and follow the progress of their favorite players as they vie for championship glory.
