WrestleMania, SummerSlam, and Royal Rumble are some of the biggest events in sports entertainment. In an announcement on Monday, June 24, 2024, WWE and Indiana Sports Corp. revealed their partnership to bring these three events to Indianapolis.
The partnership marks the first of its kind and will see the Royal Rumble take place on Feb. 1, 2025, at Lucas Oil Stadium. Additionally, two-night SummerSlam and two-night WrestleMania events will also be held at the stadium in the coming years.
WWE, under TKO Group Holdings, estimates that WrestleMania, SummerSlam, and Royal Rumble contribute over $300 million in economic impact. The agreement will also include WWE television shows like Raw, Smackdown, and NXT, along with live events in various arenas across Indiana during the partnership.
