The Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) and the World Health Organization (WHO) are hosting a webinar on May 10, 2024 for stakeholders interested in participating in World Food Safety Day (WFSD) and learning more about this year’s theme. To attend the webinar, registration is required.
World Food Safety Day, co-hosted by FAO and WHO, takes place annually on June 7. The theme for WFSD 2024 is “Food Safety: Prepare for the Unexpected”. The goal of this sixth edition of the event is to raise awareness about food safety risks and encourage efforts to prevent, detect, and manage them.
The May 10 webinar will begin at 7:00 A.M. Eastern Time and provide an overview of the resources developed by FAO and WHO for WFSD 2024. Attendees will also have the opportunity to participate in a question-and-answer session to learn more about how they can get involved in the event.
