Wisconsin Football Extends Offer to Standout Linebacker in 2027 Recruiting Class

On Sunday, the Wisconsin football team extended an offer to class of 2027 linebacker Braylon Williams. Despite not being ranked by 247Sports, Rivals, or On3, Williams has already received offers from multiple NCAA Division I programs, including Wisconsin, Nebraska, Texas Tech, Arkansas, SMU, Colorado, and Utah.

The recruitment of Williams has been led by defensive coordinator Mike Tressel according to Rivals. Standing at 6 feet tall and weighing 205 pounds, Williams had an impressive freshman season at Lamar High School in Arlington, Texas with 50 solo tackles and 89 total tackles. His standout performance has caught the attention of scouts nationwide.

Although the 2027 recruiting cycle is still far off, Luke Fickell and his staff are already showing interest in Williams. Fickell’s class of 2025 ranks No. 15 in the nation with 13 committed players.
