On Friday, the Wisconsin Badgers extended an offer to three-star class of 2026 athlete Sharroid Whitehead, who hails from Ocean Springs High School in Pascagoula, Mississippi. Whitehead joins other targets like Kennan and Jarod Pula, Samuel Simpson, and Rico Blassingame who have also received offers from UW in recent weeks. The Badgers have offered a total of 25 athletes for the class of 2026.
Despite being a 2026 recruit, Whitehead has already received offers from several top programs including Florida State, Penn State, Tennessee, Texas Tech, and Wisconsin among others. While 247Sports has not made a crystal ball prediction, On3’s recruiting prediction machine suggests that Whitehead could land at Tennessee. However, Whitehead still has plenty of time to make a decision on his collegiate commitment.
On3 ranks Whitehead as the nation’s No. 43 athlete and No. 14 recruit from Mississippi for the class of 2026. With his impressive athleticism and versatility on the field, he is considered one of the top prospects in the country. Wisconsin is excited to have him on board and looks forward to seeing what he can achieve in the coming years.
