Wisconsin Badgers Offer Elite Wide Receiver Brandon Brown Jr. from Shoemaker High School, Joining a Star-Studded Class of 2026 Recruits

Wisconsin presents talented class of 2026 ATH Brandon Brown Jr.

On Tuesday, the Wisconsin Badgers extended an offer to Brandon Brown Jr., a talented 2026 recruit from Shoemaker High School in Killeen, Texas. Brown is the latest in a string of top recruits to receive an offer from UW, joining fellow wide receivers Kennan and Jarod Pula, and athletes Rico Blassingame and Sharroid Whitehead.

Representing one of the nation’s top high schools, Brown is a 5-foot-8, 150-pound athlete who is ranked as the No. 97 wide receiver and No. 80 recruit from Texas for the class of 2026 according to On3. With offers from five NCAA Division I programs including Campbell, Colorado State, Oklahoma State, Boston College, and Wisconsin, Brown has already received plenty of attention from college football programs across the country.

Although 247Sports has not yet released a crystal ball prediction for Brown, On3’s recruiting prediction machine projects him to land at Oklahoma State. With time to make his decision before signing day next year, Brown will have ample opportunity to weigh his options carefully before making a commitment to one program.

Despite being focused on their current class of 2025 recruits – which includes several top prospects – Wisconsin continues its efforts to bring in top talent for future seasons. Currently ranked No. 13 in the nation with 17 players committed, the Badgers are working hard to build a strong program that can compete at the highest level of college football for years to come.
