Iconic musician cancels appearances due to health concerns ahead of Mass performance

Country music legend Willie Nelson announced that he had to cancel a series of upcoming concert appearances due to a health issue, just over a week before he was set to perform in Massachusetts. The 91-year-old musician’s representatives stated that he would not be able to attend the first few dates of his Outlaw Music Festival tour, as advised by doctors to rest for four days.

Nelson’s representative reassured fans that the musician was expected to make a quick recovery and rejoin the tour the following week. Despite the setback, Nelson’s team expressed confidence in his well-being and anticipated flying out to see his performances on the East Coast the following week.

Willie Nelson is scheduled to make a comeback in time for the June 26 show in Virginia Beach, Virginia, and is set to perform at the Xfinity Center in Mansfield on July 2 as part of the Outlaw Music Festival. The lineup for the festival includes performances by music legends such as Bob Dylan, Robert Plant & Alison Krauss, and Celisse. Additional information about the festival can be found online.
