Where Winds Meet, the stunning open-world RPG, made a reappearance at Sony’s State of Play event. The game, which was previously announced as a PC exclusive, is now coming to the PS5. Although the exact release date is still uncertain, a new trailer showcased the game’s captivating world and gameplay.

The Chinese martial arts portrayed in Where Winds Meet are sure to impress players. Mystical powers like Qinggong allow for incredible feats such as running up cliffs or across water at high speeds. Chi can be harnessed to stun enemies from a distance or reach distant objectives. Additionally, players can acquire martial arts skills by observing and mimicking animal behavior, giving them unique abilities like breathing fire or leaping like a giant toad.

Set during the Ten Kingdoms Era of a fierce battle between rival dynasties, Where Winds Meet puts players in the role of a swordsman who will impact the conflict based on their choices. The Wuxia genre of Chinese fiction influences this immersive experience with extraordinary powers displayed in both protagonist and NPC interactions.

Originally announced at Gamescom Opening Night Live in 2022 by Chinese developer Everstone Studios, Where Winds Meet offers an engaging blend of Zelda and The Witcher gameplay mechanics with vast systems, choices, and possibilities to explore.
