WhatsApp’s New Voice Note Feature Allows for Longer Status Updates

The popular messaging app, WhatsApp, has recently introduced a new feature that allows users to update their statuses with voice notes that are up to one minute long. This update is available for both iOS and Android users with the latest version of the application.

With this update, users can now record and share longer voice notes as their status updates, doubling the previous time limit of 30 seconds. This new feature is only available in the updated version of the app, so users must have it installed in order to listen to these longer voice notes.

The introduction of voice notes as status updates came last year, allowing users to share short audio recordings that disappeared after 24 hours. This new update enhances this feature by giving users the ability to record longer voice notes for their statuses. It provides an additional way for users to share their thoughts and updates with their contacts on WhatsApp.
