In their chase, West Indies cruised to victory in just 10.5 overs, with Roston Chase being the pick of the bowlers for his three wickets for just 19 runs in his four overs. The win put West Indies in a good position moving forward in the tournament as both teams had lost their opening games in the Super Eight stage prior to this match, with West Indies falling to England and the USA suffering a defeat against South Africa.
