Weather Forces Changes in Flight Schedules for Air India’s T20 Champions: Exclusive

Reports suggest that the flight tracker is on for AIC24WC, which will fly the T20 world champions Team India from Bridgetown to Delhi.

Air India’s aircraft with call sign AIC24WC will be flying the T20 World champions India from Barbados to New Delhi. The team will board the flight at the Grantley Adams International Airport in Bridgetown, where they have been staying since winning the final on June 29. The Indian media, which was covering the tournament, will also be on board as part of a special arrangement made by the BCCI.

Due to Hurricane ‘Beryl’, Barbados experienced flight cancellations and temporary shutdown of its airport. The flight from Barbados to Delhi is estimated to take around 16 hours, barring any additional delays. Originally, the team was supposed to depart from Barbados at 6 pm local time on July 2 with an arrival time of 7:45 pm (IST) on Wednesday, but due to weather disruptions, the schedule had to be revised. If everything goes according to plan, the team is anticipated to land in Delhi on Thursday at 6 am Indian Standard Time (IST).
