After four successful years in charge, Wales has announced the sacking of Rob Page as head coach of the national team. Despite leading the Dragons to their first World Cup appearance since 1958 and taking them to EURO 2020, Page has been replaced.
FAW president Steve William expressed his gratitude for Page’s contributions during his time as manager, highlighting his efforts in taking Wales to major tournaments. William acknowledged Page’s passion for the country, evident in his visits to schools, clubs, and communities across Wales.
Page was proud to announce the World Cup squad in his hometown of Tylorstown, showcasing his dedication to the team and the country. Wales is now preparing for their return to international action in September, where they will face Türkiye in their Nations League group opener. The search for a new head coach is now underway as Wales looks to continue their success on the international stage.
