Vitracoat Inc., a leading powder supplier, recently announced two key promotions within the company. Mileidys Bello has been promoted to president of technology, while Steve Houston is now the vice president overseeing operations in the U.S. and Canada.
During her tenure at Vitracoat, Bello has been instrumental in driving innovation and maintaining product integrity, leading to significant growth in the company’s powder coating portfolio. She established an Innovation Research team that has propelled the company towards technological advancements, and she will continue to build on these successes as she takes on her new role as president.
With over 30 years of experience in the powder coating industry, Bello brings a wealth of knowledge to her new position. She began her career as a senior chemist with Herberts O’Brien before moving on to various leadership roles at DuPont Powder Coatings and Axalta Coating Systems. She holds a Bachelor of Science in chemistry, is certified in Six Sigma Green Belt training, and has completed professional training in project management principles.
Steve Houston has also been promoted to vice president after holding several leadership roles within Vitracoat during his time with the company. Under his leadership, Vitracoat experienced high market growth, including opening an Innovation Research Center in Houston, Texas and expanding production facilities across North America. He brings extensive experience managing sales organizations, technical support teams and research and development groups. He also previously held leadership roles at DuPont and RPM Industries.
In his new role as vice president, Houston will continue to lead Vitracoat towards success through innovation and growth opportunities for our customers across North America.

Bello brings 30 years of experience from various companies such as DuPont Powder Coatings where she was National Product Manager before joining Vitracoat Inc.
