Vienna Named the World’s Most Liveable City in 2024 – Check Out the Top Ten Cities

Vienna, a city steeped in history and culture, has been named one of the top cities in the world for cultural experiences. With its rich classical music scene, historic landmarks like the Imperial Palace of Hofburg, and world-class museums, Vienna offers an unparalleled cultural experience. In addition to its cultural appeal, Vienna has also been ranked as one of the most liveable cities for three consecutive years according to The Global Liveability Index.

Compiled by the Economist Intelligence Unit, this annual report evaluates the quality of life in 173 cities globally to determine their ranking. A liveable city is defined by good-quality living conditions, which encompass various factors such as housing availability, crime rates, and road quality.
