Vamos Health, a healthcare company dedicated to serving Hispanic families, has opened its first clinic location in West Valley, Utah. The growing Hispanic population in the U.S. has created a need for accessible and affordable healthcare services that cater to both English and Spanish speakers.
Vamos Health aims to remove obstacles that may prevent individuals from accessing healthcare and living healthy lives by offering a monthly subscription starting at $60 for adults. This includes services such as urgent care, family medicine, and women’s health. In addition to medical services, patients are assigned a community health navigator who can offer assistance with various resources like taxes, housing questions, and employment opportunities.
The grand opening of Vamos Health’s clinic featured free family activities and was open to the public from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m on Saturday. Maria Barnett, Chief External Affairs Officer at Vamos Health explained that the company saw a need in the Hispanic community for accessible and affordable healthcare services. Many Hispanic individuals have jobs and families but may struggle to navigate the complexities of health insurance.
Vamos Health’s mission is to provide quality healthcare services to the Hispanic community in West Valley City and beyond while reflecting their commitment to serving diverse populations and creating a more inclusive healthcare system.
