Valerie Bertinelli Takes a Mental Health Break from Social Media

Valerie Bertinelli, who is known for her book Indulge: Delicious and Decadent Dishes to Enjoy and Share, has announced that she will be taking a break from social media to focus on her mental health. In an Instagram post, she shared that she was feeling overwhelmed and needed some time to recharge her batteries as an introvert in extrovert’s clothing.

Bertinelli reassured her followers that she was okay and that taking a social media cleanse and mental health break was important for her well-being. She emphasized the importance of self-care and being aware of when one is mentally and emotionally exhausted. Bertinelli encouraged her followers to take care of themselves too, reminding them that it’s okay to take breaks when needed.

In a recent interview with People, Bertinelli revealed that the cookbook was a result of the emotional and mental healing she had been doing. She reflected on issues related to self-worth, using food to numb feelings, and past traumas that she addressed through the book. The cookbook contains her favorite recipes and serves as a way for her to share her story.

Bertinelli’s book tour began on April 2 at Long Island LitFest and concluded in Nashville, Tennessee, on May 17. Despite taking a break from social media, she assured her followers that she would be back soon with new recipes and stories to share.
