Mother of Mercy Free Medical Clinic receives $10,000 donation from UVA Health Prince William Medical Center

In recognition of National Doctors’ Day, UVA Health has donated $10,000 to the Mother of Mercy Free Medical Clinic in Manassas and Woodbridge. The donation serves as a token of appreciation for the hard work and quality care provided by the doctors at the clinic, who cater to the uninsured and underinsured population in Prince William County.

The Catholic Charities Mother of Mercy Free Medical Clinic offers a range of services, including annual physicals, disease management, sick visits, prenatal care, health and wellness classes, eye exams, and more. The doctors and nurses at the clinic volunteer their time to provide free medical care. Additionally, the clinic offers access to integrated services like counseling, emergency food assistance, and workforce development.

Erik Shannon, Chief Operating Officer of Community Health at UVA Health, emphasized the dedication of the doctors in serving patients in Prince William and surrounding areas. Alexandra Luevano, clinic director of Mother of Mercy Free Medical Clinic expressed her gratitude towards UVA Health for their consistent support.
